The Flu Shot – Have you been chemically raped?

The Flu Shot – Have you been chemically raped? – Part I

Posted by Viola Woolcott

Year after year we are told to get the flu shot so we don’t have to spend the winter feeling awefully bad. The elderly especially are warned that without the shot their health could be in serious trouble. And why am I not surprised that the flu shot is even offered to our children? Where is the evidence that the flu shot actually works? That it guarentees a more ‘healthy’ winter? In fact, the flu shot causes far more harm than most realize.

Do flu shots work? Because you are entitled to my opinion, I will give you a few reasons why not to have the flu shot.

Here we go:

There is NO evidence that the flu shot is of benefit. Neither to the elderly, who may already have a lowered immune system, nor to our children. Our kids bodies should be kept healthy and not chemically raped!

Also, if you have the shot, it won’t protect you from the many different strains of flu anyway. So if you had the shot, you will still be prone to catch a different strain. Just an example, in 2004, “The National Vaccine Information Center” announced that the strain that was given that particular year did not ‘protect’ the majority of injected people, as the vaccine didn’t contain the strain that caused the major outbreak. Another study (Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews) on children (260,000+) of the ages between 23 month and 6 years (makes me cringe) found that the vaccine is as effective as a placebo. So what’s the point in vaccination anyway?

Flu vaccines as well as ALL other vaccines contain mercury. And we all know that mercury is a heavy metal, which causes serious health issues. Thimerosal, which is made up of mercury, is also contained in the deadly shot.

I really don’t expect you to know this, and I do understand that you trust your doctor, and that you believe he just wants your best, but the quantity of mercury that is contained in a multi-dose flu shot is more than 250 times higher than what is legally allowed. Mercury is classified as hazardous waste and mercury toxicity side effects are vast. Here are a few. From depression to anger, memory loss to attention deficit disorder, oral cavity disorder to digestive disorder, anxiety to cardiovascular problems, respiratory issues, thyroid and glandular imbalances and not to forget LOW immune system It is just to many to mention.

It doesn’t stop here. Flu vaccines contain antibiotics. Antibiotics such as gentamicin, polymyxin B and neomycin are added to eliminate ‘stray’ bacteria that may have got into the deadly mixture. Most know that antibiotics destroy the beneficial good friendly bacteria, which we all need for a healthy gut and optimumn health. And how about the fact that antibiotics lower the immunity? And there is also the known fact that antibiotics are one of the causes for Candida. I’m sure we all know a few people (even kids) with Candida overgrowth.

As an emulsifier vaccines contain Polysorbate 80, known to be highly toxic. Polysorbate can dangerously lower your immune system. Fail to protect your system, cause anaphylactic shock, which can be a killer. I’m against animal testing, but research states that polysorbic 80 has caused cancer, reproductive effects and changed the genetics in animals. Polysorbic 80 seriously caused damage on neonatal rats on their reproductive organs, which resulted in infertility. So now explain to me why is it recommended that young girls should be vaccinated?

Lets look flu this year without having to have the extremely toxic and dangerous shot in the dark. at Alzheimers. Growing evidence states that the fu shot causes Alzheimer’s disease. Other ingredients in the deadly cocktail are aluminium and formadehyde. Aluminium and formaldehyde combined with mercury are even more toxic. Not to frighten you, but people who allowed the flu shot for 3 – 5 years are more prone in developing Alzheimer’s. Why would you want to do this to your precious body?

It’s clear to me that with so many potential, dangerous side-effects the flu-shot is completely unnesessary and a total NO NO as it makes no difference anyway. To enjoy amazing health on our planet Earth, we have all we need already. And if you care to digg deeper, you will find that nothing man made is ever needed in order to live a vibrant life and keep away illness. There is so much info out there about powerful ways to keep away influenza.

Staying Healthy Without The Flu Shot – Part II

Your food makes you fat and sick

Your food makes you fat and sick

Food companies as well as supermarkets are keeping tags on what we eat. They been following us for years. They know that most believe if it’s on the shelfs we think it must be healthy.

Crappy ingredients, preservatives, colourings, flavourings, you name it, it’s in it. It’s called creative marketing. And we suddenly think it’s a ‘healthy food’. Sounds simple and easy doesn’t it?

Whatever crappy stuff they add to our food makes us fat, not to mention that it makes us sick. So now it’s not only the food companies and the supermarkets that benefit. The government and also the pharmaceuticals also benefit. Heavy vat and with the many visits to the surgery we keep the doctors in business. I’m sure you know what I mean, or have you not been to the doctor for IBS, indigestion, diarrhea, stomach cramps, sickness, water retention, urinary tract infection. You name it, it has a lot to do with your diet. Don’t fret. You have choice. So why don’t you inform yourself about your lifestyle. After all, you are what you eat!

The Natural World, Food for the Soul

The Natural World, Food for the Soul

You wouldn’t have thought it to be almost December this morning when I took my dalmatian puppy Shadow for a walk in the woods. Well, he isn’t really a puppy anymore at almost 3 years of age, but I guess to me he will always be the puppy I come home with, which isn’t really that long ago.

Shadow and I love walking and if I didn’t know better I think he prefers being in the woods. Personally I can’t make my mind up what I prefer, the woods or the beach? I guess to me a variety is best. I find them both equally as lovely.

Physical activity has energizing effects. No doubt about it! Being in nature, access to the natural world is food for the soul.

How about the scenario feeling tired? Run down? Depleted? What would you do? Reach for a mug of coffee? I promise you, coffee is a quick fix for some, a pick me up, and will drop you like a hot potato, but that’s another story. To me, there is no better way than being outdoors, connecting with nature, no matter the weather. It’s a fact that people who spend time in nature show a greater sense of vitality. They have more energy. They are more resiliant to physical sickness. Exposure to natural environments raises mood levels. Nature makes us happy. Nature is vital for both, mental as well as physical health.

Spending 30 minutes a day in nature is enough to boost your vitality and energy levels. Nature releases ‘happy’ hormones. so when you’re in a mood, go out and sit with the trees. Walk around a lake. Go in the woods. Just going outdoors won’t do. Believe you me, there is a great difference in being outdoors or in nature.

Personally it makes my day to be in nature with Shadow. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Rain or shine, I love any weather. ;-)

Are you open minded?

Are you open minded?

We make assumptions. We jump to conclusions. Slap on labels. Make judgements. We very easily form and hold onto our opinions instead of being enlightened by someone elses opinion. We shut down and close our minds, where our minds work best when it is open.

Open your mind and play with the pleasures of infinite possibilities. Explore and enjoy the diversity of life.

Wouldn’t we all like to be open minded? An understanding mind never assumes. Doesn’t jump to conclusions. Won’t hold onto opinions.

Maybe now you understand why a closed mind isn’t a relaxed mind.

Just something to think about.

Thoughts become things

Thoughts become things

Each one of us thinks 60,000+ thoughts every day. Boy oh boy, that sounds like a lot of thinking. Boring really, as most of these thoughts are like an endless, scratched vinyl record, they repeat themselves over and over and over.

Question is, what are your thoughts? Are they insecure? Weak? Fragile? Self-sabotaging? Or are your thoughts strong? Confident? Honest? Caring? Compassionate? Filled with courage and love?

Thoughts that are based on fear, self-doubt, insecurity, anxiety, anger etc will then be manifested into your life and also into yourself. It’s a vicious circle. As you will start to believe and also live those thoughts.

The opposite is also true. Thoughts of security, integrity, peace, courage, hope, strength, love will manifest not only into your feelings, but also into self as well as life. The more you focus on the good in your life, the more you will attract it. A life of security, peace, courage, hope, strength and love is waiting for you out there.

With conscious awareness think those thoughts throughout your day and you will see how quickly you will attract evrything you desire into your life. You will manifest your life from a position of strength and courage. Honesty and integrity. Love and peacefulness. You will be successful in all areas of your life.

The saying ‘Be careful what you wish for’ has a big meaning. What you think you will become. Wayne Dyer (one of my Guru’s) says “watch the thoughts you think and the words you speak’. Thoughts become things!

Cautious is what you are when you try crossing the road and look both ways. When you experience fear, that is what keeps you frozen and glued to the pavement. Don’t give in to fear. But don’t ignore caution.

It is natural to be cautious. Caution versus fear is a balancing act. Do you understand the difference? Can you ‘feel’ it?

Let go of the obstacles in your own mind

The same applies for your personal issues in your life. If you are feeling stuck right now, it’s simple. You are driven by fear. Get my point? Go on. Cross the road. You already double checked and the roads are clear for crossing over.

My Dalmatian Shadow

My Dalmatian Shadow

Posted by Viola Woolcott

Had you asked me 5 years ago if I would ever consider to get a dog, I would have said you are out of your mind. The answer would have been a definate “NO”.

Well, cutting a long story short, I had an accident in October 2007. Nothing serious. I dislocated and snapped my right foot of my leg, followed by fixing my foot/leg with metal plates and screws and on my return home I was put in a wheelchair with an extended leg rest. Needless to say really, but all in all it was a real pain.

I couldn’t do anything myself and was kind of a dependant. Truthful? I’m not that good at being a dependant. So I struggled. Spend a lot of time alone thinking about the rest (or beginning) of my life. Hard to look towards the future not knowing what’s going to happen next. I knew my injuries were bad, quite bad. I wouldn’t allow myself to pitty myself and focused on that there is always someone who is worse off out there. Believe me, once you get that affirmation into your mind, you believe it and things don’t seem to bad at all. You just get on. Accomodate (if you’re like me and don’t ask for help!) Pain! Man oh man. As I said, to focus on others that are worse off was key for me.

A couple of years later, after wheelchair, zimmerframe, crutches, more x-rays, specialists, physio etc, I was told that I may not be able to walk proper again…. hmmmm??? “That’s a negative statement and not very encouraging. Lucky you didn’t say that to the wrong person.” I said to the consultant.

Who are they anyway? Doctors! I know, I know, I know. Without them I would have lost my foot and possibly part of my leg. So thanks for the op. But the support, after care and negativity!!!! — IT SUCKS!!!!!

What did I do? For three months (or so) I researched breeds! YES, I was learning about dog breeds. I wanted a dog that needed a lot of walking. One that would be easy on my leg. One that learned with me. At MY pace. So here we are, I made a call and went to get “Shadow” my dalmatian puppy.

Shadow is absolutely beautiful!

We had a bit of a rough start as he was only 4 weeks old when I bought him (promise, I didn’t have a clue!) — neither did I have a clue about fleas and worm infestation. We had a lot, a hell of a lot of learning to do together and also about each others “needs”. The funniest was that I bought Shadow as a ‘girl’ and she rolled over I saw that she had an “extra” body part. That just shows how much I knew about dogs back than. ;-)

We started with short walks as neither of us could handle long walks yet. Now, two years later we walk between 2-4 hours (and sometimes even longer). Of course you think I’m bias, but my Shadow is the nicest looking dalmatian I have seen. And I promise you, there is no bit of fat on him. He’s lean, energetic and fit.

Shadow has broken all my rules. He’s more than a dog to me. Shadow is unconditional. He’s my best friend. My companion. We walk every day in silence, or we interact. Be it a walk by the beach, going for a swim or in the woods. There are no rules. No expectations. No wheelchair. No crutches. Shadow has freedom. He is on my level. I respect him as he respects me.

Shadow is from gypsies and I feel that we kind of saved each other. :-)

When my sorrow and hurt has calmed

When my sorrow and hurt has calmed

Posted Annonymous

“When my sorrow and hurt has calmed,
From all the terrible things you have done,
My tears will stop.
My sobs will hush.
And all I will have left for you is an eternal hatred.
The hatred I bear will not get any stronger,
Nor weaker.
But it will always be pure hatred,
And anger,
For the mental pain you have caused me.”

This is a poem I wrote when I was upset earlier today. My mother inspired it. My mother makes me cry a lot. I get depressed a lot. A lot of people call me an emo. I cry almost everyday. I pray to God to kill me. I often say the words; ‘I wish I was never born,’ and ‘I want to die’.

I cry my eyes out, and then I’m silent with anger. I punch my pillow, I bite my lips, I do anything to rid me of my fury. But it’s very stubborn. It will not budge.

I don’t know why I’m writing this? I guess it just feels good to get it out. It feels good to tell somebody. But somehow it feel as if I’m not telling somebody. I’m just writing about it, storing it away, and forgetting about it.

This often helps soothe my anger. I did this earlier, like I said, with my poem. It just feels good writing it down. Feels like I’m safer.

Another good thing is to think. To think and think and think. Lie down in your bed and think. And when you’re done thinking, you must sleep. The only way you will know you have finished thinking is that you will feel exhausted. You will shut your eyes, sometimes still thinking, and drift off to sleep.

If this doesn’t work, try occupying yourself to get rid of the negative thoughts. I like to play my handheld games, or watch television. It’s a good remedy, something for you to focus on. Make sure no one enters the room and distracts you. At this stage you are still a little agitated while you are occupied with whatever it is.

If you are still having negative thoughts, try reading. Reading is a great way to relax the body and soul. Find a good book, make sure you are comfortable and just the right temperature; then start reading. Read and read and read until you feel as if you can read no longer.

This is just a thing that I like to do, think about the book for a minute. Think about the characters, and how you would feel if you were them. And if you want, you can paint a picture about the book. I did this earlier today aswell. I got out my paints and painted. It’s very relaxing.
