Matthew Glover | Andhra Pradesh India, Heal Charity Bike Ride
Matthew is the head of fund raising at Heal, a UK registered charity in its 15th year. Heal is looking for cyclists to do Cycle India 2008, to help raise funds in order to look after underprivileged children in India so they can look after them and care for them. 50 flights have been booked on an Emirate plane from London Gatwick to Hyderabad on January 2nd 2008 with return flights on January the 11th 2008.
Cycle for 5 days through the beautiful Andhra Pradesh countryside, approx 220 miles. It will be pretty hot, 25-30 degrees Celsius, and the requirement will be cycling about 50miles a day! During this expedition, if you are interested in joining you will experience the warmth of the Indian people, the beauty of the Indian countryside , will have the opportunity to explore parts of Hyderabad, and also visit the school that Heal help fund, called the Vivikenanda Public School public school. On the 5th day of the cycle tour you will arrive in Guntur at the Children’s Village, where Heal look after around 180 mainly orphaned children. You will spend a whole day with the kids playing games, participating in a harvest festival and it will be highly likely that the kids will put on a show for you.
This is an opportunity for you not only to get out of the UK, but to also do something REALLY good for fellow human beings, getting fit in the process. If you are interested in joining Matthew on Cycle India 2008, please go to the official website www.heal.co.uk and download the brochure and application form. The brochure tells you all you need to know.

Matthew,
Would you be willing to help me?
Do you know of an organization called “Comforts Charity Trust”? I am sure it is in Andhra Pradesh in southern India.
Thanks so much, Margo Love
