There are many ways to help the Environment and make the Planet friendlier. If everyone does there part we can make this planet more Environmentally friendly.
One way of making the Earth an Environmentally friendly Planet is Recycling.
Over 250 million non-biodegradable Laser Cartridges, Inkjet Cartridges, Fax Cartridges, Toner Cartridges are dumped in the UK every year. Not to mention 15 million unwanted Mobile Phones (including their batteries containing toxic compounds such as cadmium), they generate up to 7,500 tonnes of potentially harmful Landfill waste.
This is not good news for our Environment!
Mobile Phones also contain a number of potentially hazardous materials, including precious metals. They are harmless until they are thrown away ending up in a Landfill where they degrade and cause damage to the Environment. This is the reason why you should Recycle your unwanted phone.
The Recycling Appeal collects mobile phones, PDAs and printer cartridges for Reuse and Recycling, raising funds and helping the Environment.
