Green Leaves, a Wonderful Source of Healthy Fibre and Friendly Bacteria

Green Leaves are an wonderful source of healthy fibre. Due to a diet of processed foods and animal products we lack fibre which can cause pain, constipation and disease. Sufficient fibre results in better digestion and regular soft stools as well as health.

Much healthier and more effective than excessive bran (from wheat) is the fibre in leaves, as bran can act as an intestinal irritant. The fibre contained in fresh raw leaves support and encourage the “friendly” lacto bacteria which is primarily “Lactobacillus acidophilus” to reproduce and multiply in the intestines. These “friendly” bacteria thrive on green stuff and inside of us they make B vitamins, which also includes Vitamin B12 and they also make Vitamin K.

The “friendly” bacteria assist with our digestion of food, support our immune system and help control the “unfriendly” bacteria.

When there is a lack of fibre and an abundance of decomposing leftovers like meat and milk, the “unfriendly” putrefactive bacteria like E.coli multiply rapidly. Instead of producing any Vitamins, they produce toxins and foul smells in the process, rather supporting and encouraging the putrefaction than the digestion.

In the Western Society bowel toxins are a major cause of disease, which can even result in colon cancer. A toxic colon is often said to be the cause where dis-ease initially starts.

Eat plenty of raw leaves to support and encourage the “friendly” Lacto bacteria.
