1. How many children are there for each adult in the group on a daily basis? (The younger the child, the more important the question)
2. Where can I get information about criminal records, complaints and licensing violations?
3. Has the child carer been accredited by a national organization?
4. How long has the carer been at the centre? (Carers who come and go make it hard on your child)
5. What qualifications or training has the carer had? (Make sure that they are involved in the activities and that they take classes and visit workshops)
Make sure you visit the childcare options you are taking into consideration before you commit yourself.
