De-cluttering Your Home and Space Clearing Is Life Transforming

De-cluttering Your Home and Space Clearing Is Life Transforming

By Viola Woolcott

Over the years our homes have the tendency to collect all sorts of treasures, keepsakes and gems, which I refer to as “junk”. Even though we know that someone’s trash is another once treasure, how much more can our homes really hold? And I am not claiming that it will all be done in a day, after all, it took us months, or even years to make it that way.

The question is, do you feel relaxed when you walk around in your home? Are you in control? Are you surrounded by the things you love and that reflect your life today?

Clutter tends to make you feel stuck. It saps your time and energy as well as stopping you from moving ahead. Your thoughts and ideas can’t flow freely, its all on top of you and it can keep you stuck in the past. De-cluttering can be life transforming as it allows you to let go of negative emotions, create new energy and make space for the things that are most important to your heart and soul.

In many cases making a difference starts at home. Your physical environments can directly be responsible for your emotional well being.

De-cluttering and letting go of old stuff has many benefits. You will find a more relaxing home where you can find the things you are looking for. You feel lighter looking around and when you go shopping next time, you will have a much clearer idea what it is you own and what it is that you in fact need.

I believe that letting go of clutter makes your life flow so much more freely, it makes us feel lighter, more positive and energetic, gives us a sense of control and achievement and we have more time to enjoy ourselves.
