Be True To Yourself, Do Not Settle For Less
Be True To Yourself, Do Not Settle For Less
By Viola Woolcott
How well we are living our life and how much we are enjoying our relationships is the best measure of achieving your own happiness. There is no reason why we can’t be more fulfilled and happier in everything that we do.
We are all different and each person requires a certain combination of “ingredients” to feel the very best. The mix of your ingredients changes all of the time. Only you can tell what makes you happy. You have to get in touch with your feelings and listen to your heart to judge whether a job, an investment, a relationship or any other decision is the right one for you.
To accomplish everything in life you want, happiness is vital. Happiness is the key to raising your emotional, physical and mental energy and it makes it easier in attracting more of what it is you desire as it raises you to higher energy. Happiness brings you a greater experience in every area of your life.
Discover your true state of peace and joy by moving past stuck emotions. They stop you from enjoying wellbeing and true happiness. Change you habits to support you in sustaining positive experiences. Don’t support thoughts that make you miserable. Encourage and lean into thoughts that support happiness instead.
Most important, “BE TRUE TO YOUSELF” and don’t settle for less. You can only be true to yourself by following your inner light, when listening to your heart. Listen to the “still, small voice within” as Ralph Waldo Emerson calls it. Whatever happiness means to you, have the courage to be the guiding light of every part of your life.
It is very important whether or not you feel that you “deserve” to be happy. By respecting and loving yourself you will feel that you deserve more of the good things in life and accept that you deserve all the happiness you can honestly attain by applying your talents and abilities. Hold on to the happiness you are working towards.
Make happiness the organising principle of your life. Make it your “rule” to compare your actions and decisions against your usual standard of happiness to see if your choice would make you happier or unhappier and you will soon discover that most of your life issues and experiences are the results of the choices you have made in the past, or even making at present.
