Alkaline and Acidic Foods
Alkaline and Acidic Foods
By Viola Woolcott
How do you feel after the morning coffee wears off? Half an hour after lunch? First thing in the morning? - Fatigued? Exhausted? Sluggish? Tired? Low Energy? Digestive problems? Muscle aches? Pains? Mood swings? Depressed? Lethargic? Mental fog?
Would you be interested to know that there was a simple approach allowing you to feel better, that would help create the sort of energetic, lean body you crave for?
Begin with understanding your blood and tissue levels. We have literally become sick and tired through over-acidification. Focus your diet and lifestyle on foods that alkalise your body. Infuse it with the nutrients it needs, which encourage toxins to be flushed out of your system and return your body to its ‘natural state’.
Our current eating habits advocate an abundance of sugar rich foods and animal proteins. As we lack eating fresh, green foods, we produce an over-acidification of the blood as well as the tissues. Over-acidity poisons our cells and destroys our DNA. In a healthy body, the foods we eat oxidise, which in return leads to sustained energy. An over-acidic body ferments sugars, proteins and fats - which results in fatigue and sluggishness and also slows down our natural cleansing as well as being a breeding ground for disease causing organisms. The whole process causes destruction and throws our cycle out of balance, which can really only lead to advanced stages of ill health and the body being deprived of oxygen, your cells begin chocking to death.
At least one person you know will be obese, chronically ill, fatigued and/or may be pre-maturely aging. The death rate related to heart disease is currently 40% in the UK. It has been estimated that over 2 million people suffer with diabetes. Today, one out of four children are obese and in the last decade statistics have been doubled.
To carry acids away, your body creates fat cells, the fat build up being the response to tell you about the alarming over-acidity condition in your body. On the other side, it can also be the cause for people to become excessively thin, as the fungus and yeast production within your over-acidity body feeds of the nutrients and of everything you eat, reduces the chemical and mechanical absorption by approx 50%. A body that is healthy, maintains your own weight naturally, therefore healthy bodies are neither overweight nor underweight.
