5 Essential Things You Need To Ask About The iPhone

The Dare2baware consumer would almost certainly ask the following questions:

Cellular technology history has been crammed with phones that had incredible promises, yet ended up as terrible failures. On paper, the iPhone looks good. But how about some of the most notable “weaknesses”?

1. The iPhone has no 3G high-speed Internet access, even though it is being called a “breakthrough Internet device”. However, the iPhone supports WiFi Internet, which will make up for the lack of UMTS, but than again, only where WiFi is available.

2. How about the size of the iPhone? To sum it all up, it is large. Wider and taller and with 4.8 ounces of weight is a little bit heavier than most.

3. The iPhone doesn’t have a removable memory card, so how much freedom will it offer in terms of uploading your own music, transfer pictures?

4. The iPhone has touch-screen buttons only. How will it avoid unintentional key presses? Are the touch-sensitive keys sensitive enough? Or maybe too much? Touch-sensitive is great for functions such as music controls, but what about important functions as making calls and hanging up? Personally I find touch-sensitive annoying, as you have no real, physical key to press on for example to hang up.

5. How about the sound quality? - Let’s hope they took good care of it.
